Oratile Sekwababe (Ratie)
Media Team
My name is Oratile Sekwababe. I am a born-again Christian who believes in God. I was born and raised in a rural area called Mathathane in the Bobirwa District, a place well-known for its cleanliness. I was raised by a single mother and now I am a single mother of two boys.
Currently, I am unemployed. I hold a Diploma in Computing and have a passion for volunteering, especially in community projects.
In the SMSH Media Team, I will be managing the website, Facebook page, and providing training to my colleagues.
The reason I joined Single Mothers Safe Haven is that I am a single mother who once lost hope in life, but found peace and comfort in the hands of the Lord. I want to empower and educate all single mothers out there who feel lost, showing them that there is life after being a single parent. There is hope in Christ, there is love, there is comfort, and there is peace. I am a woman of many talents, and I aim to share my skills and educate others.
"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). This verse inspired me to join the trust, and it encapsulates what I appreciate most about it. We are called to support one another, which is why our slogan says "Fifing go tshwaranwa ka dikobo," meaning "Carry one another's burdens."
This is another way of saying, "Love your neighbor as yourself!" Jesus came to bear our burdens and to remove the stain and pain of our sin.

Aone Ludo Hope Pule
Media Team
My name is Aone Ludo Hope Pule.
I attended school in Botswana, starting in Lobatse town for my pre-school and primary school years, living with my aunties, uncle, and grandparents. My mother was in England, UK, from when I was 18 months old, and occasionally, my father would visit me. I lived in Lobatse with my grandmother and later moved to Gaborone with my aunties and uncle.
■ I then moved to Maoka Junior Secondary School in Gaborone, the capital city of Botswana.
■ After that, I came to England, UK, in 2018 and attended Thomas Alleyne Secondary School.
■ After passing secondary school, I went to college in Hitchin for my diploma in business studies.
I then moved to university to continue my studies.
I got the opportunity to grow intellectually.
I am graduating in 2025, by God's grace with a degree in Film and Television.
Having lived in my motherland Botswana and now in England, UK, I can relate to young girls in Botswana from single-parent families as I have interacted with them through church, school, and social circles.
Being a Media Leader at Single Mothers Safe Haven Trust will help me reach out to young girls and make their voices heard via media campaigns, boosting their confidence, knowing their identity in Christ, and becoming who God called them to be.
I create Facebook Reels, Facebook Stories, Facebook Posts, Instagram, YouTube Channel, Podcasts, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Music to inspire young people from single-parent families and families with both parents.
I make videos on social media that encourage and help people become better.
I encourage them to talk about their issues and allow God to heal their souls, spirit, and body.
I am inspired by my mother, who is currently a single parent and has instilled Godly principles in me.
Qualifications:
■ Thomas Alleyne Secondary School – 4 in GCSE
■ Hertfordshire College – Business Studies BTEC Level 3
■ Currently attending University of Bedfordshire
■ Maoka Secondary School (Gaborone) – Form 1 & 2 (2017-2018)

I am a preschool teacher though I last taught in 2020 I'm also a broadcaster with a certificate in basic journalism. Currently working for Department of Broadcasting Services.
Currently completing my credentials on Early Childhood.
I am a member of Isambulu ska Nkhulunkulu 12 Apostle I'm just a member in the church. Since 2015.
Acts of charity but not as a member. Raising funds for primary school uniforms. Assisting with book drives for learners that have reading challenges. Winter clothes drive for the less privileged.
I joined single mother save Haven as an opportunity to assist mothers who are parenting children by their own. I have been struggling the idea of opening an orphanage or finding a way of fostering orphaned children.
I believe women face encounter some form of abuse as they grow and are only in need of empathy. Yes so do men but because of our cultural norms more women open their eyes to abuse and hardly know any other life. To my understanding a single parent is one without the other parents I can only imagine how difficult it was it must be for a single parent to provide all the needs of their children. To ask how people become single parents for me is unnecessary and unimportant what is is important is to make sure that we cushion each other so that we are I want to raise our offspring and build from individuals. Single parents because now we find that there are men who are single and raising children need to understand that there is a society out there that is reaching out to assist them. As the years ago family is eroded the roles of family members are those in textbooks and not in reality where strangers becomes family with strangers become each other's independence with strangers become a safe haven. I joined the group to help another to put food on another one's table to assure them that they are not alone for me I feel one only wants to feel the presence of others. It is that presence that our creator instilled in US to see each other in each other. I am because of you is my favorite saying....
I appreciate that single mother's Haven trust is built and centered around the principles of love. Love is the final teaching. It is often said that love conquers all which is very true it is not just a saying. The principles of reaching out.
The principles of saying I see You in me because we are created of one image. I enjoy the commitment via events planning meetings engaging praying together sharing of the word motivating each other and being each other's positive stand.
This is a trust of creatives a trust of determined individual and I see its growth daily. I would like to see the trust go into remote areas take counseling take evangelism take support to single parents in remote areas. I would like to see the trust reach out to young girls. To educate young girls on abstinence it's important to give young girls a self-worth and value and discipline.
I am because of you.
I'd like to see the trust reach out via social media via Radio podcasts.
